He married Maria Domingas Espirto SANTOS January 1, 1877 New Bedford, Ma. She was born 1859 in Portugal and died January 30, 1936 in Dartmouth, Ma. They had that I know of 2 children: 1. Manuel SLYVE/SYLVIA/da SILVA 2. Anne Ellen SYLVIE, b. April 10, 1880 Dartmouth, Ma d April 10, 1947, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii-my great grandmother.
