>From the SSDI I find Roger A. Motta, born 6 Nov. 1924 and died 16 Dec 1999. Last residence was Swansea, Bristol, MA. I am trying to determine if this Roger A. Motta was the son of Manuel R. and Mary Motta. In 1930 there is a Manuel R. and Mary Motta, with a son Roger age 5, living in Providence. Is this the same Roger who died in 1999? I would like to communicate with anyone from the Roger Motta family. In 1920 Manuel and Mary Motta have a daughter Emily, age 8 years old, living in the household. I think this Emily married James Sloan Hopkins and is living in New York in 1930. Emily and James Sloan Hopkins had a son named James Jr., and I am trying to locate James Jr. and/or his family. James Sloan and Emily Hopkins are buried in a National Cemetery in New York. James Sloan Hopkins Sr. was born in Clark County, Arkansas. James Sloan Hopkins, Jr. may have never known any of his Arkansas cousins. Can someone help me locate James Sloan Hopkins Jr.? I believe he is the grandson of Manuel R. and Mary Motta and a nephew of Roger Motta. Thanks for any help.
