Carol, Am looking for information on Alden MASON b. 1805 in Bristol Co MA, d in NY abt 1887. I have him listed in two census, both in NY. However, one does list CT as b-place. I would love to come up with a pix of him. Have found his grave and gotten pix of it and his wife Rhoda's. Included with them are Isaac MASON and Jemima ? . Any help you can provide appreciated. Mason; age 17; male; born New York; attends school John M. Mason; age 11; male; born New York; attends school James [J.] Mason; age 2; male; born New York [Jerminah] Mason; age 74; female; born Mass [Mohittabel] Dunbar; age 75; female; born Rhode Island. NOTE: Suspect [Jerminah] is Alden's mother, and [Mohittabel] is perhaps Rhoda's In the 1860 Census, there is an Alfred B. Mason living next door, suspect he is a brother, both of them list born in Mass.
