Elenore and Jim, The NEHGS and Massachusetts Archives on-line indexes are missing the 1886-1890 marriages for surnames starting somewhere near the surname Moulton and ending around Savery, which would include the surnames you are looking for. I have the FHL microfilm of this index volume at my local FHC. Next time I'm up there, I'll check to see if the marriage is in this time frame. Hi Jim: Thanks for the look up. I am still wondering if by any chance Arthur may have gone back to Quebec where he was born to find a bride. I have been unable to find the family on the 1910 census where they should have been living in Fall River since all the children were baptized there including two after 1910, one in 1911 and the last in 1912. My experience with the Census, using Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com, is that the optical reader, that scans the handwriting of the census taker, does not always read the handwriting correctly. [The optical reader may claim to see 'Veto', but the writer correctly wrote 'Vito'.] And I have found that census takers sometimes wrote what they heard, not what was said. E. G. 'Oklahoma' Howell was really 'Oakley Homer' Howell.
