There isn't much in the vital records that helps. From the Dartmouth marriages: "Hunter, Allexander, 'Tancient man,' and Sarah Peckcom [int. Peekcom] of Dartmouth, Nov. 21, 1777. [Alexander and Sarah Peckham, "Bristol County Marriages"]" I believe "Tancient man" meant he was a transient and not from Dartmouth. From the Freetown marriages: "Hunter, Alexander, resident of Freetown & Mary Jucket, 31 Jul 1783" From Freetown births: "Hunter, Daniel, s. Alexander & Mary, 6 Jun 1794." That's all I could find on Alexander. Seems such a coincidence, same name, same county,same timeframe and approximately same ages, especially since I can find no other HUNTER families in Bristol Co during this timeframe.
