I've "rescued" an old photograph of Horace I. CRANDALL of New Bedford, Massachusetts which was taken at the W. Chase Studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1860's with Horace likely in his 40's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this is likely Horace Irving CRANDALL b. 27 Feb 1824 in Westerly, RI and married Sarah CUSHMAN of New Bedford, MA on 18 Dec 1854. He can be traced through census records as follows: 1860 census of New Bedford, MA; Horace I. CRANDALL, age 36, a Conductor, born RI Sarah E. CRANDALL, age 33, born MA Alfred CRANDALL, age 4, born MA Eliza H. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
