    3. You might check the city directory. I know in some, they listed the place of employment. I have access to ancestry.com and they have the 1889 directory online and I could check that for you if you give me the name.     3. Hi Carol and list I am looking for Joseph Watters the 1880 census shows him as a supervisor in a mill in Fall River. I am also interested in his children Sadie E. Watters, Frank Milton Watters, and Ernest W. Watters. The 1889 directory you have is almost 10 years after the 1880 census and the children might be listed.
