Good evening. As you discover turn of the century cousins, uncles, etc. you may find they were employed in the shoe manufacturing business particularly Massachusetts. As a bit of memorabilia to add to your genealogy pages, I have quite a number of Lease contracts for various shoe machinery circa 1920- 1945. They are interesting if for nothing more than the way business was conducted. Most are from United Shoe Machinery to shoe Mfg. Anyone who would like one is welcome to contact me and I will be happy to send you one. Sharing is the fun part of what we do. Snowy
Hi Snowy (yup, it's actually snowing here now!<g>) I'd love a copy of one of the contracts. We had shoe workers all over Lynn and the Brockton/Weymouth area. Can you email it or do you need a snailmail addy? Thanks for the offer.....
