Hi, My first post to this list so please forgive me for rambling a little! I am researching the Yates family and have just found that my 3Gt grandmother and Grandfather emigrated to Massachusetts in 1886 ending up in Taunton in Bristol county where they are all still in 1910 census where the household is: Jane Yates Head 78 widow (her husband was Richard Yates who did emigrate with her and some of their children) James 36 single Cassie (who I believe was really Caroline) 34 Single Harry 30 single and they also have living with them Jane's grandaughter Jennie who emigrated in 1901 and is 21 Single Harry married Jessie and is still in Taunton in 1920. I am wondering if anyone else is researching this family as I am descended from one of Jane's son's William who doesn't appear to have emigrated with the rest of the family, yet he has also disappeared off the face of the Earth in England too!
