Hello, I'm new to this site and hope someone can assist me. I am searching for records of Anne Townsend. I know that she married my ggg-grandfather William Bottomley some time around 1870. The 1870 U.S. census has them living in Fall River Ward 1. I know that she past away before 26 July 1874, when he married my ggg-grandmother, Julia Parsons. Sorry that I don't have anymore information on Anne. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Donna C

I looked on NEHGS and found a death record for William Bottomley in Fall River on 6 Jan 1904, Vol: 38 ; Page: 183 William Bottomley 62 yrs 4mo 3dys W M Married cause Pneumonia( contributory: Diabetes Mellitus, several years) place of death: 87 Leonard, Fall River Father: James Bottomley, England Mother: Sarah Wood, England informant Mrs. Wm Bottomley Burial: Oak Grove, Jan 10 1904 by J E Winward & co Perhaps you could contact Oak Grove. Maybe Ann is buried there and they would have additional information. Bottomly Charles E. Fall River Feb. 18, 1872 vol. 241 pg.121 Birth son of William and Ann both born England. Possibly married there.
