Hi List here is the info on Edwin Whitaker,brother of William. Edwin was born in Rawtenstall,Lancashire on the 21 Jan 1845,the youngest son of John and Helen. he emigrated to the USA in 1868/1869. He married Mary Ingham b 1844 in England,actual location not known,in Fall river Ma 15 Sept 1872. Mary was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Ingham. They lived in Fall River for the rest of their lives except for a couple of years around 1880 when they went to Valleyfield Canada where his brother Richard was working,setting up machinery for weaving. They had no children. Mary died July 16 1916 in Fall River and is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery grave#279. Edwin remarried to Alice Rawstron nee Shaw born Rawtenstall England in @1917. Edwin died March 10 1929 in Fall River and is buried in Oak grove cemetery grave # 5205,Alice died March 28 1949 and is buried with him. Other names are Pickford and Gifford That's all for now Gilly
