Hi, Terry, Thanks for your reply to my message. The line I'm tracing is the one who was married to Rachel Blanding. The other one may be related, but I don't believe it's direct. Has anyone traced the surname DERRY in Brookline, Windham County, VT? I am looking for information on the children of a Lewis Derry and a Peter Derry (son of Lewis) who came from Norton, Bristol Co., MA. I need the children of Peter; his pension records say that he had nine children; I have found six thus far. Is Martin Derry who in 1810 was in Mt. Tabor, Rutland Co. VT and in 1820 in Tinmouth, Rutland Co., VT a son of Peter? Thanks for any help. Joann Nichols

Hello fellow researchers, Re: 1930 Census, Bristol County, MA T626 Roll 891 I found these while looking for other family and that I know of they are not related to me. This is all I wrote down and have no further information, there may be others, this is all I saw while scrolling. Hopes this helps someone! With no index, other than the city directories (except for 12 southern states) this census is hard to navigate. I invite you to post what you find while searching the 1930 census and perhaps we can help each other! The links are provided here as an aid in finding others who may link to these names. Enjoy! Hello all, My ancestor, Lawrence (a.k.a.) Laurence KENNEY (a.k.a. KINNEY) lived in Fall River, according to the 1860 MA Census. His wife was Mary (nee McDonald). I am looking for any information on them. When perhaps they arrived in Fall River. My hypothosis is c. 1855 -1860. I also am looking for a marriage record for them. I have hit a brick wall in my search. Does anyone have access to City Directories perhaps to gather more information? Lawrence enlisted in 1861 in the 18th MA Regiment in the Civil War. Not sure where he went after that on discharge. Haven't found him yet in the 1870 MA Census. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sincerely, Michele in Maine [email protected]

Thank you Lonnie, Harriet and Jackson. I will forward this info to the interested party, Jane Devlin. Now all she needs is Sybil and Abner's children to make the connection into this whole branch of the William Chase line! Based on the following from Arnold's Vital Records of Rehoboth (from LDS IGI record), looks like Abner Anthony, and perhaps Sybil, moved to Rehoboth by 1777, after the birth of their first two children in Swansea in 1760 & 1762. It is possible that the following Abner may be a child of Abner and Sybil's born later in life (17 years of childbearing is still well within normal bounds, if she lived that long!), or he could be from a second marriage of Abner's. Wonder how old your Sibbel or Lilebell ANTHONY was who married Asa SMITH of Dighton, 4 Sep 1793? If 17-18, she could have been a slightly older sister of this Abner! The LDS didn't have any other siblings listed in Rehoboth, though ... To all: Hillside Cemetery (aka Dodgeville Cemetery) on Rt. 152, Attleboro, was recorded in part in "Southern Mass. Cemetery Collection, Vol. 2" by Susan Salisbury (published by Heritage Books), also should be in library or historical societies. It was also one of several cemeteries recorded by a local historian (before 1928), a handwritten book in Attleboro's Library. P. The one mention in Vol 87, a genealogy of the CHASE family, is the only reference to Abner ANTHONY in the Register and it does not follow the family to later generations. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Can anyone do a Lookup in St John's Cemetery in Bristol County? Samuel R. Pritchard May 01, 1902 Thank you for your time Jim
What city? I have the St. John Cemetery Book for New Bedford and will gladly look it up for you if this is the city you are looking for. The book is not alphabetized so it takes time to go through it. Bristol County covers a few cities. Ellie

Hello again, List -- I have sent an email to the Attleboro Public Library and am waiting for a reply. In addition to inquiring about the cemetery's exact location, I've asked about the availability of the cemetery's records. As soon as I hear from them, I'll post their reply here. Meanwhile, I did find the same information that Marcia posted about the cemetery being on Orchard St., Rt. 152, but when I compared the USGS map at http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/MapServer?f_name=Hillside+Cemetery&f_state =MA&f_latlong=415452N0711532W&f_ht=.0078125&server=TIGER with a Yahoo Map of the same area (Constitution Ave & Park Street) http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?BFCat=&Pyt=Tmap&newFL=Use+Address+Below&add r=Constitution+Ave+At+Park+St&csz=Attleboro%2C+MA+02703&Country=us&Get%A0Map =Get+Map it seems more likely that Hillside Cemetery is on the west side of Route 118 between where Constitution Ave and Spruce Lane intersect on the east side of the road. I may have a chance to check it out first-hand on Sunday. I'll let you know what I find. The individual I'm looking for is Hugh McCutcheon Corbett, born c1877 in Ireland and died c1916 in Attleboro. Thanks, everyone, for all your input so far! Joan S.
