If you check the 1850 census for Otis, Berkshire county, MA you can see this family: Elijah Peck, born about 1818 in Rhode Island Lucy Peck, born about 1827 in MA Lucy J Peck, born About 1849 in MA I'd bet that this is the family - Lucy/Jennie probably switched her first and middle names (note that she is identified later as Jennie L Peck) and it would not be the first time that I've seen a parent's birthplace confused between RI and CT. Jennie L Broga was living in Chester, Hampden County, MA in 1910 with one of her sons. It is worth contacting the town clerk to see if you can get her death record. It's probably a long shot that her mother's maiden name is on it, given that Norman Miles had already died, but still worth it. I head into the Mass Archives in Boston periodically and could get it for you but I don't know when I will do that next.
