WLS Papers Correspondence M-R Given names, p. 9 of 90 In 1850 IL Census, Solomon Sherwood and family were in Naperville, IL. He was listed as a Physician. Dr. Solomon Purdy Sherwood was married 23 Jan 1825 to Catherine Miller. They had 7 children. William Henry, Sarah Matilda, Catherine Sophronia, Solomon Miller, Ethan Allen, George Addison, & Adele Henrietta. Sarah Matilda was married 10 Nov 1847 to Avery D. Warner. In 1850 Avery D. Warner is a blacksmith living in Naperville, IL. He is married and has a son. On the 1900 Census, Sarah Matilda is living with her son William Warner in Temple TX. She indicated that she is a widow and that she had 6 children, 5 are living.
