They had a daughter born while living there and I would like to know what church she may have been baptized in as the family was catholic. I would like to learn where they were from in Ireland and was hoping that information might be in church records. I've tried with the other children but have had no success. They came in 1849 from Ireland. Had two children in Massachusetts and then moved to Michigan. On the census the surname is listed as Carty. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
