You may already have this information, but he shows up in the 1910 census as Leonard A Race, born about 1903, living with his parents and siblings in Hillsdale, Columbia County, NY. Hillsdale sits right about on the border with Massachusetts and it's understandable that he's reported in various places as having been born in both NY and MA. By the 1920 census William, Blanche, Leonard and family show up in Great Barrington. By 1930 brother George A Race shows up in Great Barrington, married. For some reason, I can't find either Leonard or William Race in 1930, however. The best route to get birth and marriage information for the family is to contact the town clerk in Great Barrington directly.
