Martin was born in Hanover NJ in 1747, he moved to salisbury CT in 1777 and moved to Richmond between 1790 and 1795. In 1795 and had all six of his children baptized at the congregational church, Robert, Martin, Abigail, Parnel, Harriet, and Sarah. The Jasper Griffing paper lists Elizabeth Griffing as his wife but I believe this is incorrect as she is too old to be his wife and is likely his mother, as his father Daniel married an Elizabeth who would have been her age. Looking for info about when Martin died, who his wife was, and about his six children. I know that Martin became US senator of Delaware but do not know if he had children. Robert became an attorney in Middlebury VT, do not know anyting about Martin's four daughters. Martin's sister, Parnel married Timothy Griffing in Richmond Ma in 1794.
