Trying to find his parents' names. Someone told us he might be the son of Elihu, but I can't find anything to verify that. Tried the Connecticut State Library, but they couldn't find the parents for me. I know that Guilford married Nancy Case and had a number of children in Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, before moving to Ohio. Nancy died and Guilford remarried to Ann Remington Shepard. My great-great grandmother Emma Allen was the child of Guilford and Ann. If you have any information on Guilford's parents, that would be wonderful.
