I just wish I could find out what happened to her and Robert. James Weddell never married her and he went on to marry my gt gt gt grandmother. I found all sorts of info on Jeanie from the Scottish Poor Relief Records. She had a very hard life. She came to Scotland as a child with her mother. Her father died around the same time and her mother remarried. She was always poor and never seemed to have a stable place to live. But somehow she made her way to and back from America.
