The patriarch for my line was George HUTCHINSON, and he arrived in the MA Bay Colony in 1630 with "The Winthrop Fleet." He was accompanied by his brother, Thomas HUTCHINSON. George was with his wife, and they had a son after they arrived. Thomas had a wife and 5 children on the trip. There were other HUTCHINSON patriarchs in the MA Bay Colony. I'm curious who the HUTCHESON patriarchs were. (Or the other spellings.) George's descendants most remained in Charlestown, MA, Woburn, MA and in a section was renamed to Winchester, MA, in the late 1800's. Thomas died the day the ship arrived, and his widow remarried. (There is disagreement among researchers about this couple.) But, they lived north of Boston; can't think of the town at this moment. The "HUTCHINSON Farm" in what is now Winchester has existed since the 1720's. It was a 2-part farm; one half still exists but has not been in HUTCHINSON hands since 1900. The other half was sold off in 1950's. There is no on-line data base for descendants of these 2 brothers that I know of. But, I understand several researchers have the information on their computers.
