I would be interested in the site you use for archived news articles. I am interested in similar information. My great Grandfather owned a Variety Store in Pittsfield, MA. James Russo/J Russo Variety on located on Fenn Street across the street from MT. Carmel School/Rectory and Church. If anyone could provide me with information, stories, an ad or a picture, I would be thrilled to add it to my family history. At the wake of My Grandmother, a gentleman shared that anytime they were in the store, he was generous with candy, especially Root Beer Barrels. It added so much sentimentality to the rote demographics of researching and writing family histories. The Pittsfield library has been very helpful in getting articles for me. You can email them or call them....the information is on their site. They will bill you $5.00 for look-ups and the photocopy and postage. My husband (Foley) grew up in Pittsfield and remembers the store. He also remembers the Sanginetti name. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 25, 2007 2:39 PM Subject: [MABERKSH] archived news/Russo's Variety >I would be interested in the site you use for archived news articles.
