It says Mederise was the daughter of Gilbert Belanger and Malvina Gagnon on her marriage record to Stephen, and on her death certificate. I have been unable to locate a birth or baptism record for her. I believe she was born in Napierville County, Quebec in May, 1875, and was the first child born after her parents' marriage in 1874.
