Hi Janine, I looked on ancestry and only found three James Kirton's for 1931, 1932, and 1970 in the MA City Directories. There were 18 entries for William Kirton which were all from the late 1800's-early 1900's (Boston, Newton and Springfield). I found no entries at all for Amey Kirton. Wish I could help more but that's all I found with the directories. I did find a James Kirton (birthplace Ireland) in the 1870 census but the female adult's name was listed as "Mrs." and there was a girl named Katy living in the house. Does that ring a bell?
