Many thanks to Penny, answered my request for info from "Hancock Through the Years" by Nellie L. Cameron! From that book a gained a tidbit of information. Rebecca WHEELER m Asa DOUGLASS in 1737; they lived and raised a large family in Hancock, MA. Asa was born in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1715. I find that interesting because my ancestor was also born in Fairfield, CT and eventually purchased property in Hancock in 1787. I find WHEELER's all along Jehiel's migratory route and in fact he married (second marriage) Elizabeth WHEELER. Question, was there a WHEELER family in or around Hancock during those years and does anyone know who Elizabeth's parents or siblings were? I am always happy to share info and sources.
