Hi everyone - Last week I thought I had found my Margaret's parents - but now I don't think so. I was sent some CHAPIN genealogy- it said she was the d/o Reuben BEAMAN and his wife Miriam - but I believe that is not correct - because Reuben was born 1842 and Margaret born 1756- I doubt that Reuben had a child at 14- Is there anyone that could help me out in New Marlboro by looking in the records to see if her parents are listed. She was born there 15 March 1756 - she married there 22 Apr 1779 TO Darius 6) CHAPIN - She lived there for 23 years before her marriage and then in 1780 they moved to New York- Her first child, a daughter, Tamer was born in New Marlboro on 9 Nov 1779- their next child was born 1780 at Granville, Washington, New York- where the rest of their children were born- I sure do appreciate any help you can give to me - Thank you Wilma Fleming Haynes in Oregon gencon@harborside.com
