I don't know where Melvin was at that time. Evidently he came back, and they had my dad and moved to Pawtucket. I find them in Pawtucket in the 1930 census. My dad died in a car accident Dec. 25, 1955, so I was never able to ask him anything. We lived in PA, and I only remember one of his brothers, Frank, visiting us when I was little. My mother really knew little about his family, and she was gone before I got interested in this. I did come to N. Adams, got a copy of my father's birth certificate, and went to see the house they were listed at on State Road. I'm planning to come back up this spring and visit Schuylerville and North Adams to see if I can find any more info. Any suggestions on where to look would be very welcome!
