Hi everyone. I'm wondering if the 1850 or 1870 Pittsfield Directory could be indexed by someone? It is in the public domain now and if there is someone who has access to it who would want to volunteer for this project - I would be glad to post it on the Berkshire County GenWeb site. The volunteer would get credit on the site and lots of "good karma" tokens. I don't know how big the book is so maybe I'm asking too much? Hello, Vikki: My FORD family is from Pittsfield (arrived there sometime between 1851 and 1855). If someone could get copies of the Directories to me, I would be willing to do the indices.
