Maryanne: My 5Ggrandfather was: Elijah SPRAGUE who lived out his final years in Adams, Berkshire County, MA. He was originally married to Avis Mitshall and they had a daughter named Avis SPRAGUE. Avis (the mother) died and Elijah remarried a woman named Anna ???. Avis SPRAGUE was living with Elijah and Anna Sprague and their three children, Zerviah, George and Henry in Adams, Berkshire, MA up until Elijah's death about 06 August of 1800. Avis SPRAGUE married a man named John HUIT, probably in Pittsfield Berkshire. Avis was born in Glocester, Providence County, RI. Does this ring a bell?
