I'm looking for information on Sylvander Johnson of North Adams, who apparently ran the Johnson Manufacturing Co. in that town. He was born on February 2, 1815 in Stafford, Tolland, CT. He died on May 11, 1882 in New York City. He was married to Eliza Ann Bigelow, daughter of Asa Edwin Bigelow and Elizabeth Browning. Specifically, I'm looking for information about his parentage. I know his mother was Statira Spelman, but I've been getting conflicting reports on his father's name, whether it was Jonathan, John or Samuel. Thanks a lot! Travis
