    3. I have gotten a pension record for my grandfather's brother who worked for the railroad in North Adams MA and in New York City. It gave me quite a bit of information including how much he was paid, when and where he married his wife, other places he worked after the RR, when he died and some info about his wife. If you look at the SSDI and it says RR he probably received a RR pension.
