Max, I am hoping you can help me. I have been searching for a marriage reccord: The problem is there is conflicting information as to who the groom is. I have a copy of a record, not the original but a hand written copy from the Holbrook Collection from the original Massachuetts town vital records of Sheffield, Berkshire MA records. Ingersole, Noamie dau. of Daniel and wife Mary born March 15, 1756 Francis son " Feb 23, 1758 Rebecca dau " Mar 28, 1760 David son " Jan 13, 1762 Artimedorias son " Apr 31, 1764 (Apr 21, 1764) There is a number 66 out to the left side of this documentation. The numbering is not in sequence so I do not have any idea what the numbering signifies. What I am trying to prove is the Daniel Ingersole(Ingersoll, Ingersol) married Mary Drake. There is information in the Avery book that it was Francis Ingersoll who married Mary Drake. I guess that it could be Francis Daniel Ingersole or Daniel Francis Ingersole. I am hoping that the marriage date of this couple is listed and that the real father of Artimedorias be identified. Thank you in advance for offering to help people.
