It says 'Page cannot be found'....guess I'll have to try something else...if there is anything else to try. I've not been in the history room as I don't live in MA...I live in Illinois. (grin)... Or did you mean 'virtually'? I'm having major problems with my brain for the past few days, I forgot to go to work on Friday. I've been on the job over 20yrs...so I guess that says a lot about how dumb I've gotten lately. I seriously doubt they would do any loan to an Illinois library. Even within my state/county they don't do this. The difficult thing about researching early Clarksburg is the town records were destroyed by fire...in mid 1800s as I recall. I honestly think the only way I will ever find these gals is if someone has bible records or if there are funeral records stored somewhere....I don't know for certain where they died. I'm guessing Sarah (Aldrich) Pratt died in MA, her youngest child, my 2nd great grandfather, John Aldrich Pratt, was b. in Clarksburg in 1816. I think Lydia may have died in Stamford, VT where the family was living before they came to IL in 1854. Lydia (Aldrich) Pratt is NOT buried with Ebenezer here in IL. I do know Sarah/Salley was b. in MA...this was mentioned in the Portrait and Bio. Album of Lake Co., IL. Also stated was that she could trace her family to England. Her oldest daughter's death date and burial can't be found either, although Prudence's husband, Eseck HARRIS is buried in Stamford, VT. How can people just seem to appear and then disappear? I have a few 'property sales'(?) documents for MA/VT and a Stamford tax record...no one knows what these are either. My family ran what was called 'The Pratt House'....a hotel I guess...not sure. I have a photo of it taken by a distant relative in the 1960s. A number of years ago I asked the folks at the Bennington Museum Library about this place....they couldn't find anything nor anything about these Aldrich gal's families. Oh well....everyone needs to have a brick wall don't they? (grin) Priscilla Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
