I just checked Ida's death record on October 5. It does not list parents, either, but says that she was from Germany. I'd tend to believe Switzerland since Ida reported that herself. That would be great !. Sylvanus Muller and Ida Schait were married at Camp Briggs on 6 Sep 1862.. The next day his Regiment moved out to Washington, DC. Ida came down with typhoid and died in Chicopee at his brother's house about a month late. Sylvanus was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness. Thanks a heap.
