I too have not been able to get a response from the Pittsfield Library and at this point they're the only organization that can help. Below is what I sent them: I am looking for census record for someone I believe to be my 3x g-grandfather Orrin Brigg(s) enumerated in Lenox in 1830 -- and also his birth record in 1797. Another researcher on this list told me of an Orrin Briggs, whose uncle is Allen Briggs, who married Nancy Brown (born 1761) 29 Nov 1778 in Cheshire MA.
