Having seen the recent questions about the lack of response from the Pittsfield Library I thought it might be time to send on these two URL's. Perhaps most of you have already tried it but I did find some new information (new to me, that is) on the Pittsfield Library site. Go to the left side of the page and click on Reference. I have never done this but who knows? The second site, for the Berkshire Family History Assoc. is my all time favorite! The people there are tremendously helpful and they work in close contact with the Athenaeum at the Library. Hope it will help someone.
