One of the best research facilities I have ever been to is the Library in Pittsfield. That facility is truly amazing. Most everything is digitized with search engines. Their books have been digitally indexed so that you can search for whomever you are looking for and you will get a list showing the book or collection, volume number and page number. All you have to do is look them up in that book. Some collections are totally digital with PDF files all indexed. The research assistants are extremely helpful as well. There is also a National Archives right there in Pittsfield so if you can't find it at the library you can try locating them at the Archives. By far Pittsfield, MA is the place to go if you have any connections to Western MA, Eastern NY, NH or CT. They far exceed anything that Springfield has to offer. And the area is just plain beautiful, especially in the fall. --- [email protected] wrote: > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. Advice for Visiting Berkshire Cty, MA (Terri) > 2.
