I am looking for the parents of Absalom Backus dob <1780> in Pittsfield MA. He married Abigail Luce and I am searching for her parents too. Lebbeus Backus had a son named Absalom but her was born in 1763 in CT. My Absalom died in Sept 1855 and all the records I have say he was 75 yrs old at his death.
