His father's name was Thomas Seymour and accoridin to the information that I have, Thomas seymour was born in Tennessee or New York. His mother Teresa Stephens was born in Brooklyn, New York. Francis Joseph Seymour was also born in Br0oklyn New York on february 21, 1894. I need to find a birth record of some kind so that I may find more information on my great-grand parents. My grandfather (francis Joseph Seymour) was orhaned at an early age. He lived with the family of daniel O'Brien, who are living at his home of record when he was enumerated aboard the USS Alden during the 1920 census.
