The abbreviations are usually defined in the pages of the directory preceding the directory entries. Certain abbreviations "usually" mean: Bd, bds = "boards" R = resides and in some, rents" Wk = works Col = colored When copying entries from directories I usually copy the page defining the abbreviations.
