My husband is actually the Tower descendant and like you is, I belive, an 11th generation descendant (might be 12th, not sure as I haven't done much genealogy lately). As for use of the info, it is for my own personal use and for my children's info. I am not writing a book, have no intention of publishing information on-line or anything like that. I am just trying to gather as much accrate information as I can regarding any/all descendants of John Tower and Margaret Ibrook so my children and their children will know they descend from ancient stock, great politicians and persons of note. The "Jr" seems unlikely. His parents were Charles Reed and Keturah Alger. I would guess that your Thomas Reed is descended from the next generation back, William Reed (b. 1601 in England).
