    1. Pelton-Simmons in Lanesboro
    2. For years I have been trying to get information on the family of my Lemuel (6) Pelton. He md. Mary Weeks in Huntington, Hampshire, in 1792; he died in 1805. According to the Pelton book, Mary then married to a Mr. Simmons and they lived in Lanesboro. I would assume this marriage took place shortly after the death of Lemuel Pelton, as widow Mary was left with at least 6 small children. I have to assume again that Mr. Simmons died somewhere around 1820 as in 1822 a daughter of the Peltons married, in Monroe County, NY. No Mr. Simmons has been found there. If anyone has any information on these families, would appreciate hearing from you. BTW - no use suggesting going to a FHL - none where I [currently] live. Olive Hoffman

I have not been able to confirm this. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Liz

My eldest half-sister passed away in Pittsfield on Jan. 28, 2001. I have tried to request the obit from the Berkshire Eagle site but I keep getting and error message (it says put in my address, which I did--- humph!) and therefore I am hoping SKS will be able to get it for me. Her name was Gladys Calderwood. Thank you for your time! Margaret in NV

    3. There are a number of Randalls listed in Adams directories I have in my possession for 1908, 1909, 1922, 1932 and 1941. if this would be of any help to you. And by any chance is Thomas O'Neill also known as Joe, of Bennington, Vermont, brother in law of Harry Logan? 1. What line will claim Wilbur Brewer?
    2. Arlene Onken
    3. Wilbur Langdon Brewer was born in Morrison, Whiteside County, Illinois to Gilbert and Amelia [unknown] Brewer. According to the 1870 census, the father, Gilbert, was 34 years of age and born in Massachusetts as were his parents. I think he was born in Berkshire County, MA because there were a number of Brewer families from there who traveled and settled in Illinois and even in Whiteside County. Also, the Langdon name has long been associated with the Brewer family leading me to believe his mother may have been a Langdon since Wilbur was the oldest son. My great grandfather [Daniel Porter Brewer] was born in Berkshire County in 1809 the son of Daniel and Electa Langdon Brewer and was one of 7 boys. I do not know if they all reached adulthood. Is it possible that Wilbur was the son of one of the brothers? Anyway, Wilbur married Eunice Farrington and eventually they moved to Jerome, Idaho where he passed away April 25th, 1941. Eunice passed away January 21st, 1942 there, also. I have been unable to determine where Gilbert and Amelia Brewer died. I feel fairly certain they are not in Whiteside County. I guess it is not really important to locate the burial sites of Gilbert and Amelia for my own use. I have this page of obituaries about Wilbur and his wife and would just like to know if they are related to my Brewers. Thanks for any help or ideas. Arlene in Illinois
