There is another note on this ancestry chain: It is Gideon Colton (b1727,d 1783) married D. Purchase (b1737). They were married 1763 in Springfield Ma. They had a son : Amos Smith (b1758, d 1814) married Mary Coltan Smith. They were married 5 May 1802 Cummington Ma. Yes I had a quesation on the Curtis family. Someone posted the family was registered in Ellis Island. How can that be when Ellis Island opned on 1892 and these Curtis folks lived in the 1700's ??

My records show there were three children, but only mentions two: Maria H, and Marshall C who married Ann Gibbs of Otis and they had three children. That's all I have..... but this should give you some good leads to see if there was an Abner. AS I already indicated...
