Hi "Pocki", I was wondering how you locate the street records for Pittsfield? Are they online somewhere? I have a similar "dead end" that I have an address for from the directories. Thanks! You've been a big help in the past. It is just recently that I've come up with a death date for William Weatherhead since the Mass. Archives have put the birth and death indexes online. He also had a cousin, Thomas Weatherhead, who died 11 April 1880 in Lee, so if you're scrolling through the microfilms and stumble across his obit, it would be greatly appreciated. HI! I just rec'd this email and i think the time frame is 90 years. In the state where the records are held, Boston Mass as capital of the state would hold these records. If you go on line to area where you can download form for birth and death certs, it should say. Spelling error. Mateis Asubalis married Amely Ladus in Pittsfield 4 Sep 1905. Both born in Russia, Mateis was 34, Amely 21. Mateis' father was Baguslav, mother Annie Weuclutus?. Amely's father John, can't figure out the mother. Hi, Bob! (And anyone else that is confused about where I've been!) It's the same Dawn...I was Dawn Quinn, but after my divorce I went back to my maiden name: Dawn Newton. I went through a couple different e-mails as well, too. I would love to get a copy of the work you've done for St. Joseph's Cemetery. I'm sorry that you were sick for a while. Life throws us some curve balls once and a while, and I had my fair share too, which was why I took a little break from genealogy. I hope you are better and I will post the information as soon as I get it. Glad to hear from you again and anyone else who wants to contact me is more than welcome to as well!!! Bright Blessings! Click on that and it will take you through an index database - when you find a record you want, click on that and you'll see a digitized original. Some of the more recent originals from some towns aren't there yet. In that case, you have to trek into the town or into the Mass archives in Boston.
