Neither image is on the NEHGS server at this time. The first entry for William John Davis 1882 vol 12 pg 643 is a supplemental entry. Basically, the parents didn't report the birth the year he was born. The second entry is probably an normal one, but it is part of a number of images that were skipped in the initial filming for the NEHGS. Unless someone on the list has access to the Williamstown Vital Records and can provide you the information, you can order the FHL microfilm (number 1901629) for Williamstown Vital Records 1860 to 1900 to view the entries. Greetings Everyone, I hope the March weather is pleasant for everyone. Here in MA/CT we have have finally been blessed with the arrival of winter! It was a little late, but has decided to bless us with snow right before Spring starts. It's hard to believe we can mark the turning of the season with Easter in a couple of weeks. I'm so glad that the Berkshire List missed me...(even though I wasn't really gone! I suppose I should have announced my name change a year and a half ago---I just assumed that people would understand that it was the same Dawn...hehehe) and the Hampden GenWeb site is being explored. I intend to answer everyone's e-mails, and post all the information you are giving me for the website. I intend to finish updating the Hampden website, too. I would just like to ask for your patience while doing so. I recently started a new job during the day, and I still work a couple nights a week at the Olive Garden. So 60 hours a week of work leaves me little time for genealogical fun! Plus I still occasionally take clients for genealogical research, which ties up my genealogy time. I also have two beautiful daughters who still like me! (I'm going to enjoy that while it lasts!) Thanks for your understanding and patience!!! And please keep e-mailing me and giving me information for the website. I'll also try to put together a genealogical how-to guide since A LOT of e-mails are often asking me where to turn to for information. Bright Blessings & Happy Spring, Dawn Newton
I have no information on Joan or those names. I know some of the e-mails on the surname page are outdated, but Patricia McMackin who runs the surname registry keeps up with it regularly. The accuracy of the e-mails depends on people updating their e-mails with her. I will forward your request to the Berkshire mailing list. It's possible Joan is still on the mailing list, but hasn't changed her e-mail on the surname registry.
