I think he just left his family and he may be the man I find in the 1860 and 1870 census of Harwich and Eastham. I just need to "prove it". I am heading to CT mid April, hoping to find something there. Good luck on your search. I truly understand the frustration. I have been searching for this guy for 8 years and I am not getting any younger. At the rate of the progress I am making, I may end up meeting him in heaven! Carol
