Dear Linda, According to The Nickerson Family, Part IV (published by the Nickerson Family Association) p 588, Sophia (Thomas^6, John^5, Joseph^4, William^3, Joseph^2, William^1), was the daughter of Thomas and Jane (Greenough) Nickerson. She died Barnstable, MA, 16 Dec 1867, age 55 yrs, 4 mos, 27 dys, a widow, of consumption. No burial location is given. She married Yarmouth, 30 Nov 1837 (int. 1 Oct 1837), by Enoch Pratt, Ezra Baker, born there May 1816, the son of Washington and Thankful (Crowell) Baker. His death date is unknown. She apparently married again to Francis Haskell, of unknown background, as the 1861 Indian Census lists: Francis Haskell, age 43, married, white, separated fr5om his wife; Sophia Haskell, age 48, married, Yarmouth tribe, living Barnstable; Sophia A. Baker, Ezra Baker, Russell Baker, children of Sophia by her first husband, Ezra Baker, white. On Sophia's death record she is called Sophia Baker, so probably divorced Francis Haskell and resumed the use of name Baker. We have not found related records.
