NY 1840 United States Federal Census about Richard T Grey Name: Richard T Grey Township: Pine Plains County: Dutchess State: New York 1830 United States Federal Census about Richard T Gray Name: Richard T Gray Township: Northeast County: Dutchess State: New York 1820 United States Federal Census about Richard T Gray Name: Richard T Gray Township: Amenia County: Dutchess State: New York 1810 United States Federal Census about Richard T Gray Name: Richard T Gray Township: North East County: Dutchess State: New York Census' for 1810, 1820,1830 & 1840 list no other relatives with Richard. I do see a Richard Gray in Yarmouth in 1840 (perhaps you meant 1840 not 1740?)census but age is given as "older than 10 yrs. but less than 15 yrs." Age doesn't match your Richard. 1790 United States Federal Census about Richard Gray Name: Richard Gray Township: Northeast County: Dutchess State: New York The 1790 census is confusing & perhaps someone here can decipher what the numbers for Richard under these categories mean. No other family members are listed by name. Free white males of 16 yrs & upwards including heads of families: 3 Free white males under 16 yrs: 2 Free white females including heads of families: 4 This is confusing. I found cemetary records for Richard T. & Robert C. in Sharon, Ct. Perhaps they were moved to NY cemetary at some point in time? Sharon, Connecticut, Burying Grounds Cemetery: Richard Gray Burying Ground Family Plot Name: Richard T. Gray Death Date: 27 Nov 1858 Age: 82 yrs., 4 mos., 7 dys. This is listed right below the above data on record: The Amenia Island Cemetery Amenia Island Cemetery needs little description here. It is a well-chosen spot, tastefully laid out, and under excellent management. During the past few years there have been a number of removals from the older Cemeteries to this one, which fact may enhance the value of these inscriptions to the searcher. This Cemetery lies on the east side of the village, not very far from the railroad station. Connection? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
