According to his death record in Wellfleet, Capt. Henry Baker was born and died there, 1786-1869, and his parents were Elisha and Jemima. Elisha is not in the Wellfleet censuses of 1790, 1800 or 1810, nor can I find a marriage record for Elisha and Jemima. Henry Baker and Betsey Holbrook registered their intentions there in 1804, and Henry is in the 1810 census (and later). Does anyone have information about Elisha and Jemima Baker? -- David Kew
