I am related to the Cobb/Hinckley/Soule family as well through the Sarah's. I really haven't looked at where she was born, to be honest. I think that would hold the key. If she was born abroad, she may not have come over on the Mayflower, but another boat around the same time. I sometimes don't understand what the fascination with "The Mayflower" is. It's not like it was the first boat that landed in Virginia with colonists. Another of my ancestors (John Woodson) came over a year before the Mayflower in 1619. Where's his boat's society?!? (sarcasm) I hope someone can give you a definitive answer! If they had a daughter Sarah that married Samuel Hinckley they are mine. I know Sarah Hickley married Henry Cobb and they are my line. If it is true, I would be a descendant of the Mayflower. Just proves that a servant under Edward Winslow's family could make a place in society. Any information would be appreciated. I did print the Biographical Summary of George Soule.
