He had the connection to Captain John Custis born VA to Joseph Custis, John died Yarmouth in 1810, this information will lead to the family of Custis in VA. The statement was made in the paper for the 50th anniversary of George and Sarah Etta Bray Ryder. Sarah is the daughter of Captain Henry and Deborah Custis Bray, Deborah is the daughter of Henry and Sally Young Custis, Henry the son of Captain John and Hannah Hawes Custis.
